(AUSTIN, TX – November 22, 2010) After evaluation of numerous design agencies, Envision Creative Group, an Austin based graphic design and creative services firm, was chosen to design the 2010 end of year fundraising campaign for the Ronald McDonald House of Austin.
The Ronald McDonld House is a nation wide organization that offers families a place to sleep, eat and relax while their children receive medical treatment at one of the area’s nearby hospitals. Austin’s Ronald McDonald House has been providing a restful, comfortable place for families to sleep, creating a home away from home for families living outside of Austin for 25 years.
While McDonald’s the corporation is a partner in care, Ronald McDonald House Charities is neither owned nor fully funded by McDonald’s. Local McDonald’s owner/operators and their customers provide almost 15% of the RMHC Austin operating budget and the remaining budget is derived from donations. Since the house and its services are so highly dependant upon donations and volunteer work, it is imperative they stay in front of the community and it’s supporters.
“We are so happy to help such a great organization” said David Smith, president of Envision Creative Group. “The service RMHC provides is one we all hope we will never need but are very thankful for when we do. In times of trouble we realize just how valuable a nap, a shower, and a quiet moment with people who care really matters. I look forward to seeing how much this campaign helps to raise awareness, and more importantly, raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of Austin”
